Chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) is a condition that can happen after a stem cell transplant, where the new cells attack the body. It can cause uncomfortable symptoms and affect daily life. Adults have special questionnaires to describe these symptoms, but children don't. This study is about making a new questionnaire just for children and teens (ages 5-17) to better understand their symptoms. Parents or guardians will also fill out a survey to help if the child is too young.
In this study, kids and their parents will answer questions in two main parts. First, they'll complete a survey and discuss their answers with a researcher. This helps make the survey easier to understand. Next, they'll fill out the improved survey two more times, along with other questions about their quality of life.
- The study involves answering questions online and talking with researchers.
- It's important for kids and parents to speak English to participate.
- There are no direct treatments given, but it helps improve future care.
