This study tests how well and safely Pimecrolimus 0.3% Ophthalmic Ointment works for treating blepharitis, which is an eyelid inflammation causing redness and irritation. Participants will use the ointment twice a day for 6 weeks. The goal is to see if the ointment can fully clear eyelid debris, which is a common symptom of blepharitis.

  • Duration and Visits: The study lasts 6 weeks with multiple visits.
  • Eligibility: Children (2+ years) and adults with diagnosed blepharitis can join.
  • Compensation: Participants may receive compensation for their time and travel.

To join, candidates must be able to put ointment on their eyelids twice daily and should not have certain eye conditions or recent COVID recovery. Pregnant women cannot participate. Participants must not have used other treatments for blepharitis recently. If interested, adult participants or children with parental consent can sign up. The study aims to improve blepharitis care by assessing this new treatment method.
