Phase N/A

This study looks at biomarkers in tumor tissue samples from patients with newly diagnosed neuroblastoma or ganglioneuroblastoma. Biomarkers are special signs or substances in the body that can help doctors learn more about cancer. By studying these samples, doctors hope to understand how the cancer works and how to treat it better.

Key Points:

  • This study involves taking blood, tissue, and bone marrow samples for testing. It does not involve any new treatments or medicines.
  • Patients will have follow-up visits after the study is completed to check on their health.
  • Eligible patients have not received chemotherapy before joining this study, except in urgent cases. A written consent is required from patients or guardians.

The study aims to create a reference bank of tumor tissues and related samples for future research. It helps in checking the presence of MYCN gene changes and other factors to predict how the cancer might behave. Patients with suspected neuroblastoma or related tumors can join. Relapsed patients not previously enrolled are not eligible.
