Psychotic disorders are severe mental health conditions that can cause a lot of distress. This study looks at a new way to help people with these disorders manage their emotions better. Emotion regulation means controlling your feelings using certain strategies. People with psychotic disorders often struggle with this, which can make their symptoms worse. Scientists think that this is because the front part of the brain (the prefrontal cortex) isn't working as it should. This study will test a cognitive training program, which is like a brain exercise, to see if it can help improve emotion regulation by activating the prefrontal cortex. Participants will use an app on their smartphone for 30 days.
- The study lasts for 30 days with the app-based training.
- It includes people aged 18-60 with certain psychotic disorders.
- Excludes those with recent substance use disorders (except nicotine) or certain medical histories.
