The study looks at the eCoin® device, which is put in the leg to help people with urgency urinary incontinence (UUI). UUI is when someone feels a sudden, strong need to pee and may not be able to reach the bathroom in time. The eCoin® device stimulates the tibial nerve, a nerve in the leg, to help control bladder urges. This study is being done in many places and will follow participants for 5 years to see if the device is safe and works well.
- Participants need to visit the study site for regular check-ups and to fill out diaries about when and how often they go to the bathroom.
- The study is open to men and women over 18 with UUI who are not responding well to other treatments.
- Participants will need to stop certain medications for a couple of weeks before starting the study.
Before joining, participants should talk to their doctor to ensure they meet the health requirements and are comfortable with the study's length and procedures.
