Phase N/A

Research shows that groups like Black, Hispanic, or disadvantaged people often face unfair treatment called structural racism and discrimination (SRD). This means unfairness is built into rules and policies that affect their health. Most studies only look at one level of SRD at a time, but this study will look at all levels together over time. The study will include families living in certain counties in Georgia and Minnesota, who have access to the internet and can read English or Spanish. Participants should be between 8 to 18 years old, and parents need to agree. If a child or parent has serious health issues or if someone in the family is already part of the study, they cannot join.

  • Study Duration: Long-term, to understand changes over time.
  • Location: In-person and online participation in Georgia and Minnesota.
  • Compensation: Possible benefits include contributing to better understanding of SRD.
