This study is testing a special balloon called ProTractX3™ TTS DCB, which is covered with a drug named paclitaxel, to see if it works well and is safe for treating long-term non-cancerous bowel narrowings (strictures). A bowel stricture is a tight area in your intestine that makes it hard for food to pass through. To be part of this study, you need to be at least 22 years old and have had this problem treated at least twice before.
- Participants must attend follow-up visits and give written consent.
- The study is not for pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant soon.
- People with certain health issues or allergies cannot join.
If you join, you will need to go through a procedure where doctors use the balloon to try to open the narrow part of your bowel. This study will help doctors learn more about using this treatment for people with similar problems. If interested, talk to your doctor to see if this study is right for you!
