Phase 2

The study is exploring two new treatments for Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), which is a liver disease that happens when fat builds up in the liver, causing inflammation. People who have NASH and liver fibrosis, which means the liver has some scarring, can participate if they are 18 years or older. Participants need to have a NAS score of 4 or more, which is a way to measure how serious the liver damage is, and a fibrosis stage between 1 and 3. You cannot join if you've been in another drug study recently or if you drink too much alcohol. The study involves a liver biopsy, which is a test where a tiny piece of the liver is taken to look for signs of disease.

  • Participants must be at least 18 years old and understand the study procedures.
  • A liver test called a biopsy is needed to check the liver's condition.
  • People with other chronic liver diseases or who drink too much alcohol cannot join.
